Daisy and the Walkers
North Country Blue
Daisy and the Walker Sisters is based in Northern California. Their repertoire spans from Swedish tunes and Americana to traditional jazz songs. Daisy and the Walker Sisters are currently enjoying performing all over Northern California.
13-year-old guitar player Anna Daisy, 14-year-old cello player Aerie Walker, and 14-year-old violin player Tuki Walker started playing at age six. They met at music camps all over the west coast, and played their first gigs in the summer of 2017. Each one of them enjoys putting an unique twist on classic tunes. Daisy and the Walker Sisters have had the chance to open for Brittany Haas, Paul Kowert, Dominique Leslie, Jordan Tice, and Mike Witcher. They enjoyed playing with bluegrass stars Keith Little, Kathy Barwick, and Pete Seigfried last summer. Aerie and Daisy played with the Shasta Music Summit tour on Watkin's Family Hour.
Daisy and the Walker Sisters are seeking to perform in Northern California and neighboring areas. Please contact Daisy and the Walker Sisters at email@example.com for information about booking gigs.
North Country Blue includes some of the best young bluegrass musicians in California – four young women whose ages range from just 12 to 14. All of the girls have been stalwarts in the California Bluegrass Association’s “Kids on Bluegrass” program and Youth Academy, and they have several years of prior band experience among them despite their young age. The band members come from all over Northern California – from Berkeley to the Sierra foothills to the Central Valley – and chose their name after it was dropped in their tip bucket as a suggestion at a street fair
